What we’re trying to solve

Textile producers already collect the data needed for emissions calculations - material composition, origin locations, transport routes. But turning that data into something useful requires tools that most producers don't have and can't justify buying.

The alternatives are expensive and disconnected. Consultancies charge for what should be automatic. Manual calculations are slow and hard to verify. Rough estimates lack the credibility needed to use emissions data in customer conversations, sustainability reports, or regulatory submissions.

AWARE™ already holds verified, traceable supply chain data. Our impact calculations put that data to work.

What you get

Automatic calculations at every transfer. Every time a batch moves through the supply chain, Aware calculates its carbon footprint automatically. Producers see their emissions. Brands see cumulative impact across the full chain - from raw material to their door.

Batch-level and product-level reporting. Producers get a per-batch breakdown, and brands get a three-level view: purchase order → product → contributing batches. Stage-by-stage emissions showing exactly where impact is generated.

Primary impact data in DPPs. Calculations feed directly into your digital product passport and batch reports. When EU Digital Product Passport requirements come into effect in 2027–2028, compliant data is already available.

Verified methodology. Our calculations are powered by Climatiq, using public domain emission factors with the option of purchasing more or using custom. Results are ISO 14067-aligned and GHG Protocol compliant.

How it works

You don't change anything about how you use AWARE™. When you create or send a batch, AWARE™ automatically sends your material composition, weight, origin, and transport data to Climatiq's calculation engine. Results are returned in seconds and appear in your batch report, your impact overview, and your DPP.

The more supply chain participants using Aware, the more complete the picture - each stage adds its calculations to the cumulative impact of the product.

Included at launch

Material production emissions: from raw fibre to fabric, covering the full cradle-to-gate scope.

Transport emissions: road, sea, and air freight calculated automatically from your location data.

Manufacturing process emissions, facility energy use, and end-of-life metrics are on the roadmap for future versions.

Current status

Impact calculations are in active development. We're targeting a testing phase in early Q2 2026.
